Hamilton Black Community Celebrates Canada 150 with a Theatre Production
As a part of Canada 150 celebrations, Stewart Memorial Church in partnership with Wasambe Community Productions proudly presents —Things My Fore-sisters Saw— a spectacular play about four women of African descent who affected change in Canada. Written and performed by award winning Canadian actor Leslie McCurdy, the play lets you experience the lives of these extra-ordinary Canadian women.

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) will be presenting an information session for anyone in the community who would like to learn more about ways they can privately sponsor a refugee to Canada.
The information session will be during the evening on Wednesday May 10th at 6pm-8pm, located at 52 Catharine St., North Hamilton. The information session will be delivered in English.
This workshop will provide an overview of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Policy Change and Application Submission

The information session will be during the day on Wednesday May 10th from 12:30pm-2pm at 145 Wilson St., East at the Beasley Centre (Hamilton) and will be presented in Arabic.
