Lights of Dundurn Festival
When: Friday, December 9, 2016 - 3:00pm
Where: Cake and Loaf Bakery, 321 Dundurn Street South, Hamilton

Lights of Dundurn is a free community event to celebrate the changing season. There will be hot apple cider, face painting, local accoustic musicians, crafts, freshly candied nuts & storytelling. Plus local artisan vendors, Gorilla Cheese & special Cake & Loaf treats.

Help light up the neighbourhood and support "Hamilton Welcomes Refugees" with the goal of raising atleast $1000 to help reunite a Syrian refugee family.

Where: Wesley Urban Ministries, 52 Catherine Street North, Hamilton

Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion (HCCI), in collaboration with Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council (HIPC) and Wesley Urban Ministries, is happy to offer this Cultural Competency Workshop to individuals and groups that are involved in welcoming and settling Syrian refugees in Hamilton.

This 2.5 hours workshop is focused on developing cross-cultural communications skills, respecting differences and recognizing unconscious bias.
