The City of Hamilton welcomes international students and graduates and is committed to helping them build a strong foundation for academic, social, and professional success. The opportunities below highlight the many ways international students and graduates can engage with the city, access support, and prepare for life after graduation.
International Students - Welcome to Hamilton!
Hosted in September each year, the Hamilton Welcomes the World event provides international students an opportunity to meet local community groups and services, get to know downtown Hamilton and be officially welcomed to the city.
This initiative is a collaboration between the City of Hamilton, McMaster University, Mohawk College, Redeemer University and Helping International Students.
