“Better” is an original stage production based upon the compelling stories of several high school students who recently arrived in our city as refugees and immigrants. It offers a rare glimpse inside one of Canada’s most culturally diverse high schools and introduces several teenagers who share the stories of their journey to a new home, their dreams, and their struggles. The play asks us to consider what it means to be a welcoming community, and is intended to be inspiring while also provoking important dialogue.

In 2015, we asked Hamilton a simple question: What is your vision for the future of Hamilton? Over 50,000 people from across our great city shared their ideas, hopes and dreams to create a new 25 year vision for our community. Making Hamilton's community vision a reality depends on collaboration, information sharing and progress reporting. Please join us at the Our Future Hamilton Summit to discuss how we can work together to implement Hamilton's community vision.
